On March 11th 2015 WPOA met for 'Bed Bugs, and Roaches, and Mice, Oh My!'. This meeting was all about pest control and extermination. Brian White from Pro-Tech Pest Control presented on the best methods for exterminating mice.Joe Blake from Ford's Hometown Services also spoke to us about controlling and exterminating pests like cockroaches, bed bugs and bats.
We learned that taking preventative measures and knowing what signs to look for are key to controlling pests. Once an infestation has set in, getting the pests out should be seriously focused on and a professional should be consulted, especially in the case of bed bugs. Being proactive about pest control will prevent your property from becoming a health hazard and save you on costly repairs and/or extermination services.
