March was an incredibly busy month for our public policy volunteers. The Senate Special Commission released their report on housing, Boston had a much-anticipated hearing on Just Cause Eviction, we released our Housing Court study, negotiations over rent escrow continued, and SPOA released their exposé of unethical tenant advocacy.
"Just cause eviction" is a proposed city ordinance sponsored by some tenant advocates who want to prevent gentrification.
At least once a week we'll ask a new question and post the answer to the previous question. You can put your own answer in the comments section.
Massachusetts voters may have to decide this coming November whether to legalize cannabis (marijuana) in the way that alcohol is legal.
