Rental Agreements

We had a load of great presenters for this event! WPOA Member and Experienced Landlord, David Fleckner, gave us a variety of “do’s” and “don'ts” when it comes to drafting rental agreements.

Then, Harvey Alford of Alford & Bertrand LLC, talked about reasonable accommodations (like handicapped ramps) and whether you need to build them, and who pays for what.

We then moved on to Attorney Mark Lee, Counselor at Law P.C. (also a landlord himself). He shared his perspective on being a lawyer and a landlord, and how he generally advocates for shorter, simpler documents.

We held a Q&A that accompanies the aforementioned presentations of Dave Fleckner, Harvey Alford, and Mark Lee.
