Currently I have a duplex in Uxbridge that has been fully renovated with the intention of providing a living experience that is above what one would typically find in an older building. This building is energy efficient. Energy efficient buildings are more comfortable because the heat is uniform and without temperature swings typical of most housing. Energy efficient buildings tend to be healthier. Since the heating, plumbing and electrical systems are new and up to date, maintenance problems should be limited.
Hopefully, tenants will find this to be a living situation that has character, but without the annoyances of many older buildings.
