WPOA December 2016: Credit and Codes

On Wednesday, December 14th, we gathered at Worcester Tech to learn about staying up to code and lines of credit. Doug Quattrochi kicked things off with the Business Update.

David Fleckner, an experienced property manager who's had his fair share of tricky tenants, spoke to us about the Massachusetts sanitary codes. He educated attendees on how to make their property invincible to the 'free rent trick'. David's '5 things you don’t know about the sanitary code that could sink you' were eye opening!

Ting Wong from Eastern Bank also spoke to us and took our questions on opening a line of credit. Landlords and long-time members, Sandra Katz and Sheldon Katz (no relation), took time to talk about why landlords would want a line of credit.

Both experienced landlords and novices were able to take away a lot vital information from all of our wonderful speakers.
