.Following our December 2015 election for director, there were some changes made to the MassLandlords board of directors. Pietro Curini has been named our next director effective January 1, 2016. The vote was close. Please thank Bill Jones for running when you see him. Both Bill and Pietro are strong supporters of landlords in Massachusetts and we are lucky to have them with us.
Pietro Curini, MassLandlords director effective January 1, 2016.
This year director George Valeri steps down. As a token of our sincere appreciation, we have produced the plaque below, which we will give to George soon. George has been a member of the Worcester Property Owners Association for decades, a key leader of that group, and a valuable contributor. Please thank George if you see him.
MassLandlords is a 501(c)6 not-for-profit trade association with six directors. Five are elected annually for staggered five-year terms, and a sixth transitional director is in place to foster greater collaboration with local groups state-wide. The bylaws require a new director to be elected each year. The directors oversee and hire the Executive Director to carry out the business of the association.
Our mission is to create better rental housing in Massachusetts by helping landlords run profitable, compliant, and quality businesses.
We help landlords. We also advocate for better laws.
