Landlord Barricades Himself, Shouts “You’ll Never Take Me Alive!”

A California landlord, evidently distressed by a recent conversation with a tenant, barricaded himself in a home with a crossbow and a molotov cocktail on Tuesday, July 28th.

Los Angeles police were called in at 5pm, beginning a five hour standoff, during which the landlord shouted that he would not be taken alive.

Haven't we all had conversations that would make us want to do this? Well, don't go crazy. Ask a local landlord for advice. In all our years of operating the message boards, we have never once heard Molotov cocktails or crossbows offered as advice.
