MetroWest Property Owners Association Marlborough Dinner Meeting Tue Oct 13th, 5:30 pm: Massachusetts ADUs: How Landlords Can Start the Process

Our guest speaker will be William Paynton, Building Commissioner, City of Marlborough, MA. William is the leader of the Inspectional Services Group in Marlborough and responsible for addressing ADUs in Marlborough. Each City or Town has their own rules despite the whole Commonwealth of MA having passed the law that ADUs may be built by right in every municipality. Additional tools that enable any specific property to be reviewed for ability to build on any lot will be provided by the MWPOA leadership.
"How much do building codes for ADU vary from City to City?", will be a topic that is reviewed with some slide input from other communities as well.
