Pest Control and Reasonable Modifications & Accommodations
Attorney Garrett D. Lee of Mitcheson & Lee LLP, specializes in civil litigation and has a lot of experience in handling landlord tenant disputes. Attorney Lee educated us on how to reasonably accommodate prospective tenants who require service animals and how to reasonably modify your structure to accommodate the physically disabled. Garrett's main mission was to eliminate the panic that someone has when presented with a request for accommodation, either because of a service animal, ESA, or structural change. You don't have to say "yes."
Exterminator Steve Buono also joined us to discuss controlling pests during the winter. He focused on mice and how to prevent them from entering and nesting in investment properties. He also took many questions from the audience and was able to give some great pointers!
