Elections

Massachusetts elected officials have a lot more power and influence over your day-to-day life than you may realize.  The great thing about these people is that they're local.  You can meet them, talk to them, and form your own opinions about whether to vote for them.

Each year we try to bring those who hold and seek office closer to their constituents at free events.

For the 2014 election, we invited certain candidates to speak at Small Business Candidates' Night 2014 in Worcester, near our headquarters. We invited the locally contested 1st Worcester Senate and 17th Worcester House.  We also invited state-level candidates to speak about two races that are very important, but which usually receive no attention:

  • The Lt. Governor, who is supposed stand by to be the Governor.
  • The Auditor, who is supposed to be the public's assurance against corruption, abuse, and misuse.

The links below take you to pages about these state-wide races.  For the local races, view the Candidates' Night page.
