Written Information Security Program
According to 201 CMR 17.00: Standards for the Protection of Personal Information of Residents of the Commonwealth, small businesses including landlords must take steps to protect important information Massachusetts residents give them. For landlords especially, who often get access to detailed credit and personal histories, including social security numbers, having a good written information security program is essential.
