It’s Time to Talk about Summer Fire Safety in Multifamily Units

As of publication, the state of Massachusetts was still in the very early stages of “opening up” after a months-long stay at home order due to the coronavirus pandemic. With summer beckoning, and large public gatherings still off-limits, many families are going to be looking for ways to have fun at home.

But some summer activities have the potential for disaster in multifamily units, where some tenants may not have easy access to yard space. For example, in multi-floor units where residents may not have easy yard access, some people may try to have a cookout using a grill on a covered upper floor deck.
