Dorchester Landlords Settle Section 8 Case

Latchmin Nanna, David Nannan, and Rhea Nannan agreed to pay $57,000 to settle allegations that they accepted illegal side payments from their Section 8 renters at various times over a nine year period beginning in 2006. The allegations were raised by a renter and filed by the US Attorney’s Office on behalf of the Department of Housing and Urban Development. The renter will receive $11,400 of the settlement.
