This presentation provides a legal overview of landlording, focusing on the common mistakes that landlords make, especially those that are the most costly.

We review basic requirements of:

Security deposits
Tenant screening and anti-discrimination
Lead paint
Notices to quit
Sanitary code
Pre-rental inspections
and more.

This presentation will not be an in-depth review of any particular topic, each of which could be an entire presentation on its own. But we will give a general compliance check.
