    Statewide Virtual Meeting Tue Oct 19: Paint and Painting for Landlords of All Sizes

    This presentation will cover paint and painting for landlords, owners and property managers of all sizes. Whether you are DIY or overseeing a team of six, we’ll make sure you learn something useful:

    • Managing and selecting colors, products and sheens
    • Selecting the best tools and cutting in best practices
    • When to use spackle vs joint compound
    • Best practices for touching up
    • New England painting pitfalls
    • Storing wet brushes and rollers to reduce cleanup time
    • The latest in paint technology
      • Anti-graffiti coatings
      • Paint with odor eliminating technology
      • Quick dry products
      • Tub and tile reglazing

    Attendees will leave knowing more about how to paint and how to manage those who do. Show your rentals with every surface at its best. This is not a sprayer course, although we will give guidance on whether you should learn to spray.

    Part of this event will be presented by Grace Prime. Grace is a Property & Facility Maintenance Specialist with the Sherwin-Williams Company. She has been working in the paint industry for 8 years helping property managers of all sizes accomplish their maintenance goals. Grace is originally from Belchertown, MA but now lives and works near Worcester.

    Part of this event will be presented by Tony M. Raymond. Tony has been with Sherwin Williams since 2011, with the past 6 years focusing on property management. Tony works with several property owners, management companies and contractors in the Boston market. Originally from Maine, he enjoys the New England sports teams and can be found many weekends on the golf course.
